My bfs family likes me and all and know we will be getting married, the are punjabi Indians, which practice the religion Sikh. I know he wants to have a traditional wedding to please his family besides I think he wants an excuse to have a ridiculously extravegant wedding. I’m just curious as to what it entails and how much punjabi in need to learn. He says I don’t need to speak and it lasts like five days well like all the days leading up to it. Anyone have anymore info? Oh and I’m suppose to wear red, also I wasn’t sure I have yet to see a Sikh woman in the short top under a sari, do they only wear long ones? Even for a wedding? I wouldn’t mind, I have confidence issues as it is so being shy and showing my stomach doesn’t mix well. But other than that jw if anyone would know

me and my fionce are getting married well here is the story:
well i dumped him, i found a engament ring,i wanted him back, and now about 10 minutes ago he came to my door singing i wanna stand with you on a mountain (my fave love song) and held that ring in his on hand and a huge boquet of red roses (36) and asked for me back so now im happy….well we are getting married in fall 2008 (my baby and such) i know this is really ahead of time but what colors, where, what songs ,what food ,big or small ,my party ,my dress ,my flowers, deco, my babies clothes (girl), my first dance song, what type of thing for kissing (glasses,bubbles), theme, it goes on and on plz help me nethng will help me thnx

Are disposable cameras a waste of money at weddings?
I’m interested in having a disposable camera at each table for our reception. I’ve read however, that most of the time the pics come out crappy and it’s just a waste of time. What do you think? Has anyone actually had a wedding and done this and had a good outcome or should I just save my $100 and not do any of that?
How do you make “cement or concrete filled containers to hold flowers outside on tables for weddings as decor.
I need to make little bases for holding flower and balloon arrangements outside as decorations for tables. I need something fairly heavy so they don’t fall over. Can I use cement or concrete of some kind and which does the best job. I would like to fill little flower pots with the “cement” and then put small arrangements of balloons and flowers inside. These will be used for several occasions. What are your suggestions?

i am thinking of starting my own flower arrangement business for weddings etc… how do i start?
I have no experience at all, but am enrolled in a floral arrangement course for special occasions .

My fiancee and I were talked into having our wedding in the fall by my Mom (I don’t know why)… We definitely don’t want to wait this long. I need medical insurance and cannot get any without being on his insurance, which requires us to be married. We have been by passed by so many people who were engaged before us and we don’t want to wait this long. I am not able to get the medical care that I need for a serious health issue without insurance..
Our question is…if we were to get our pastor to marry us in his office (very quietly with maybe our parents).. and not tell anyone.. Could we still have our wedding in the fall/summer like we have planned and I wear the dress I have.. etc, etc? It sounds rediculous but when you are being denied medical coverage because you’re not married and are tired of being upstaged by others who have never thought about getting married until you got engaged.. you would see why. Is this unfounded?
We’re not getting married because of that. We want to get married and I am very sick and need health insurance!
