I’m having a photo scavenger hunt and I want people to take pictures with disposable cameras at my wedding reception. I know if I don’t give them some guidelines then all the pictures will be of him and me (at least that’s what happened at my mom’s wedding.) So I thought things like “best dancer” and “worst dressed” would be fun and no one would know in the end what the subject was or who took the picture.

We got married on 7-7-7 (July 7th, 2007)…our photographer (a professional small company) told us he’d have our proofs in a couple weeks when he left for the night…I believe it took about 4 or 5. Then when we placed our order (we had to pay up front) we were told it’d be a couple weeks…we waited 3 or 4, he said it’d be another couple weeks, we waited 2 or 3…the prints still aren’t ready and our album will be another couple weeks before we can even review it then a few weeks before we get it.
Now of course I am a little anxious to get them, plus we are out all the money until they come in (I wasn’t about to charge my family/friends in advance when they didn’t even know or pick the guy, just in case something like this happened), but I also need my wallets for thank you cards, my announcement photo for the paper…it’s now 4 months after our wedding. What I’m mad about is saying one thing but doing another.
Any suggestions what I should/can do? Is this time frame normal?
I forgot to mention, we are in a small area…it’s not like it’s a busy city or large area either.
Should I demand some money back or someting, obviously I have no control over the date. I just am not satisfied with the service, especially as much as we paid.

Also let me add, the contract does not provide a specified time, had I known, yes, I would have had them add that!
Chinese take out boxes for bridal shower favors?

I’m trying to do some creative bridal shower favors. I am also on a tight budget! I found some really cute chinese take out boxes at the dollar store that I want to get. I’m struggling coming up with a saying or something for them. For example…doing cookie cutters and saying something “Whitney and Trever are Cut out for each other” or doing a mint tray with “Mint for each other”. What is a phrase that would work for chinese boxes?!?!?!?! I only have 10 days until the bridal shower!! AAHH!!
Is there an online florest that can take many donations to pay for flowers to send?

My husband and some of his friends that live in many different states would like to find a place online to send flowers to one of their friends who just became really sick and is in the hospital. They would all like to donate something towards it but getting all the money together is the problem. Does anyone know of a online florest that takes donations or where you can set up for donations to be able to send flowers?

We had a very upscale, high-end wedding. I had 14 disposable cameras for each table. One table had 5 couples at it. The women took pictures of their breasts and tattoos and when I had them all developed I wasn’t upset, just shocked. Now I’m wondering if this is normal. If so let me know. They are the wives of people that I don’t know very well.
They are the wives of my husband’s friends..so we know who did it. He saw all of their breasts! I’m freaked out.
Who do you talk to when you just can’t take life’s crap anymore?

Just seems like my whole life is in total upheaval. My teenage son’s want to now live with their dad, my oldest son that just got home from Iraq has PTSD, my career is going down the tubes, as a newly wed(since Aug.) it seems we have lost our “zest”. My hot flashes are worse, don’t want to take hormones, they cause cancer, I already have a lump by my armpit, no health insurance, so I refuse to go to a doctor and put my family in the poor house, it is cheaper to bury me than heal me… Must I go on ?? Get the picture?? Sometimes death just sounds better. I am a Christian woman too, born again a little more than a year ago, but it just seems like my life is on overload… Please HELP

I am going to Florida from England for my cousin’s wedding next December (2010) and want to spend some time seeing some of the country afterwards on the way to seeing my friends in Texas.
I am planning on taking the Greyhound some of the way and driving the rest.
