I’m helping plan a bridal shower for a friend who is getting married in August. I’m not sure if small favors are usually given out at showers, but I think it would be cute. There will be a lot more family members present than friens, so something appropriate and inexpensive since there will be quite a few people. Any ideas for favors would be appreciated!

so I have been asked to be the maid of honor for my fiance’s brother’s wedding ( so my future brother in law) I need some help with ideas for the bridal shower…What kind of games should we play?? what kind of favors are good? and Prizes… what do people like to get as prizes?? ( I am the only bridesmaid so I can’t ask the other girls for ideas) any links and pictures would be great! I have no clue!! what other stuff should I have/do at this bridal shower?

Well I was just wondering what the best baby shower game prize you’ve seen was? My family is having some baby showers coming up and winning prizes for the game winners are needed! 
Additionally, I wondered how you personalized your shower favors? How is that worded because we don’t know the exact date when the baby will be born…?

My cousin is getting married in November and on their bridal shower invitation it said, “Semi-formal, No black or red clothing please.” I was just like, ” What the F***?” Isn’t black formal? And the main color of the wedding red. I don’t think that’s right. No one in my family thinks it’s right. What is the best thing to solve this?

I’m hosting my sister’s wedding shower and I’m stumped on what to give out as favors to the party guests. My sister is having a fall themed wedding and she adores western decor and I want to incorporate both of those into the shower. So really, I want to know if anyone has any ideas on how to pull this off and do it as cheap as possible.

I am hosting a small (30-40 guests) bridal shower. I plan on having a pretty candy buffet for decor/favor/something to do. I do not think this is suitable as the only favor though. I am having trouble thinking of a cute favor that isn’t your typical picture frame to give my guests in addition to the candy buffet. I’ve searched party stores in person and online. I am looking for creative and unique ideas please!

My sister is having her wedding on a beach front. Her bridal shower is going to have a theme of flip flops. I was going to buy everyone a pair of baby blue flip flops (since that is her color theme) so they can wear them at the beach during the wedding weekend…Is this a good idea? I will need their shoe sizes so how do I go about asking them in an invitation?
