My Fiance and I really love the look of Black and White for our wedding. We want to get a really classy look but we don’t have much money, as we have just bought a house and we had to put down more deposit than we thought. So we need to save money where we can. But I would really love to have classy printed wedding invitations in black and white to match our bridesmaids, and reception table decorations? Black lace table runners with pink tiger lilies in clear vases with white marbles.
Does anyone have any ideas? I’m stuck and haven’t found any wedding invites I like yet.

im planning on making my own wedding invitations but i really dont know where to start. ive been searching online trying to get ideas but im getting no where. i need some help trying to figure what type of paper i need to make my invitations and where can i find the appropriate paper for the cheapest and best prices. PLEASE HELP. im only getting started on my wedding and i already feel so overwhelmed…
brunettegurl52695, what makes you think that invitations are only $100? obviously, you don’t have any clue about how much weddings cost these days (averaging $25000). invitations, envelopes, response cards, response card envelopes, and receptions card for 300 people run at $600 for simple ones, and for more classy ones run as high as $1000. maybe you should check your facts before you go around bad mouthing everyone that is looking for a little advice.

Is it cheaper to order from a discount site or to get cheap invitations and print them yourself? Doesn’t the price of ink add up also?
We are looking at about 300 invites… also would like to do postcard RSVP’s (to cut down on cost and on wasted paper)… pretty indifferent to anything extra fancy. I am really hoping to get married on a reasonable budget, but still have a nice wedding– that doesn’t look like it was “cheap”.

My wedding is in 10 weeks and Im totally stressing out because we have yet to get the invites. My parents were going to be paying for them, but have had some things come up. With all of the other wedding costs that my fiance and I have, we are trying to figure out how in the heck we are gonna be able to afford 200 invitations? Thankfully we arent doing RSVPs, so we just need basic invites. Also I don’t care about how much detail they have, I just want to get the information out to our guests.
We don’t have a printer so the DIY kits are out of the question. Just looking for a site online that we can buy them from for a steal. Please HELP! lol >.<

I’m a photographer and considering creating ‘postcard’ invites because I want it to be something I make and I think these will be handy for guests to stick to the fridge etc.
The question is what do I photograph? I thought about something simple like ‘Wedding Invitation’ written in sand on the beach before a sunset ooor something like that but it CANNOT be cheesy 
I don’t do cheesy and I am wondering if that would be a bit cheesy.
I don’t want a picture of us on the front because I like to stay behind the camera
I dont want JUST a landscape photo
I do have the ability to add text/graphics and I’m pretty handy with all forms of digital editing
I am VERY open to novel/clever ideas
I am also open to ideas that are created entirely on the computer it doesn’ HAVE to be a photo/

Does anyone own this kind of business making souvenir’s pins and invitations for baby showers, weddings, and sweet 16s? do you need anything besides a business license because i heard you don’t because i know of people that have these kinds of businesses what other things do i need besides that i know i need lots of materials a computer and printer a ribbon printer for pins and favors a glue gun to put materials on favors but what else
