Wedding in Red – Perfect Marriage

I have to do a speech and demonstration (kind of like the cooking channel where they tell you how to do something while they are doing it) for my communications class.

The speech can take 6-8 minutes. Does anyone have any valentines themed dessert ideas (no baking) that I could make for the speech?

I was thinking about making a chocolate chip cheese ball if that gives you an idea of about how long something should take to make.

My friend is having her wedding at a ceremony and reception hall in May. They want the ceremony to be kind of tropical. What are some good and unique ideas for the reception?

I have some ideas. I’m in pretty much the beginning stages of planning a wedding. I’m having a winter wedding. No other theme besides that. My colors will either be Evergreen and White or Chocolate Brown and Ice Blue( It’s sounds like it wouldn’t match but when you see those colors together…..) I’m not really sticking to any theme. It will be in late January. Thanks alot

Ever since I was a little girl, i wanted a beach wedding. Now i’m getting married in June and i need some ideas. I want it to be magical with tons of twinkle lights at night and tiki torches. What are some other magical ideas? I want the actual marrage to be at dusk and the party at night under the stars. Oh, would bubbles be cool? Should I hold it earlier to have everyone swim after we kiss? Where should I have it? Etc….
Would it be a good idea to have hot tubs covered with sheer matirial overhead to make them look mystical?

What do you think my dress should look like? I have an idea of sort of a strapless poofy bottom sparkly one, what do you think, though?

My fiance and I are planning a wedding late next year. We are trying to plan a nice wedding for ourselves along with a honeymoon. We are not trying to start our new life off in debt (that is why the wedding is not till late 2010) but we are looking for interesting ways to save or earn money for our wedding.

I have started to plan my wedding for April of ‘08, But it seems that my mother wants nothing to do with my wedding, only my older sisters wedding, I need help planing the reception, ideas on how to direcate the reception, my colors are white red and black, Chris and i are paying for everything our selves, please help with ideas, we are going to have pasta, bread sticks and saladfor the food….

I’m planning a film noir themed wedding with the main colors being black & red & need some ideas for decorating. I’m also having some trouble finding websites that feature black wedding gowns. please help!

I am getting married soon, and I want this day to be one that I can remember for the rest of my life, not just a day that I’m bored with and can’t wait to have it done with.

I’ve thought of many things but currently my mind has run dry.

I’ve thought of things like:
Picture matting instead of an actual guest book.
A Candy bar, purchasing candy online in bulk for cheap.
DIY chandalier trees

And a few other things, like a picture booth (For south Dakota is a big deal hhaa)

Any other ideas?

We are having a Garden wedding and for our favors we are going to by small pots and have our names/date calligraphed on them. We want to plant seeds in them and let it be a surprise as to what flowers will bloom. But we can’t even figure out what flower to put inthem!?! Any ideas on A small (and will stay small) purple or blue flower that is low maintanance that we could plant in the pots?

I am getting married at the end of April 2010. Our reception is being held in a big worship center that is over looking the water. It has big windows that you can see the water from. It is a very blank building that can have anything done to it. I have a very strict budget and am having a hard time coming up with things like food, decorations, and table tops. If anyone has any suggestions or knows where I can look it would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Okay, well I’m trying to have our wedding this year on 10/10/2010 and i was just wondering if anybody had any ideas. I kind of want it to be a small, intimate, romantic wedding the colors are a dark purple, with hints of gold and ivory but the thing is I live in a pretty small town so I have to drive like an hr away to San Antonio to get things. I want to keep it as cheap as I can, we’re still pretty young and have a baby who is almost 9 months…and I don’t feel like spending all these thousands of dollars lol…anyways if anyone has any good ideas or pictures with those colors or any opinion i’d appreciate it =] ohh and umm theres like 100 guests right now but i kinda doubt that all of them will come…
ohh yeah and because i live in a small town there is kind of a limit to where we can hold the reception and one that i’ve seen has picnic tables…any ideas on how to decorate them? or has anyone ever had picnic tables? and also they have an inside to it where there are the metal folding chairs any ideas on how to make it look nicer without the chair covers or do u think that just leaving them alone would be better?

I am getting married in September and my wedding is outside. My colors are cranberry and silver. I am struggling very much with the idea of favors. I swear I have looked at everything and have found nothing. I am not very creative, but I know that I want to have something different from my wedding. I am not too picky, just want something different. Any ideas?
