I am getting married this october 2010. i am having a difficult time trying to come up with some other colors to go with my bridesmaid dresses which are fern green. I found this color at davids bridal and i absolutely loved it. I know that my fiance wants brown for the colors of the tuxes so i figured those would be the two main colors for the wedding. i am wanting to come up with some other accent colors. I have thought about a purple and maybe white, but i don’t know if these will look right. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

In general I like very “earthy” tones, mossy greens, rusty reds, burnt oranges, saffron golds, etc.
What are the meanings of colors, and what do my color preferences “say” about me, if anything?
I would like to have an Autumn wedding using these color themes (fall colors, perhaps), or either the linked green in the dress and chocolate brown, or burnt orange and brown with a creme colored dress.
I like the idea of a mountain-top wedding, a forest wedding, or a wedding with a backdrop of fall foliage, with a reception following in an old stone building, perhaps a wine cellar (though I don’t drink, just for the ambiance), or a log cabin-esque venue.
I’m thinking it would be casual, with trail rides, a post-wedding barbecue and a bonfire.
I’m hoping costs will be lower “out of season” during the Autumn. Any suggestions?

I am getting married at the end of august, my centerpieces are sunflowers yellow roses daisies lemons and limes, the ceremony is going to be on the beach, but I don’t know what food would best fit the reception. should i go with cream or white for my dress and the accent color?
