Wedding in Red – Perfect Marriage

I am going for a black and red theme for my wedding. The red isn’t really a blood red that I have in mind but it is more of a black/red. I want the flowers to be red roses with black in them. And I am really not sure what the color is called for the bridesmaid dresses. I want to see if the bridesmaid dresses should be black with the red/black roses or if they dresses sould be that dark red also…I need help!!!

Any location is ok or somwhere not in The UK. But prefectly london or UK tho. I indeed need to take some great red lotus flowers for competition. Thank a lot! ^-^

My fiance & I are getting married on Feb 13th, 2010.. Since it’s the day before Valentine’s day, I kind of want it to tie in with that. I don’t want cheesy hearts & pink everywhere. I just want it to be really romantic. What is a good color scheme to go with? The chairs at the reception are a dark green, but I don’t really want dark green for my theme.. but maybe something that will go with it. I’m not sure. I could always get chair covers, I suppose. Anyways, I like red, but I’m not sure what shade or what colors to go with it? Also, what flowers should I get that will be in season & match with the theme? I like roses, but would prefer something different. Thanks!!
I might want to add, I’m probably going to get silk flowers. I just want flowers that are in season.. as in, obviously not daisys or something that would look out of place in winter.

I had a good crop last year, my first time of growing beans. I can’t understand why the flowers are dropping. Otherwise, they are growing well and lots of flowers are forming.

OK, here’s the story: My sister got married a while ago, but it was just in Florida where she went and bought the certificate thing.Nothing special. She is coming back to Ohio for her ceremony on the fourth of July. She would have had it in Florida but didn’t want to make all of her friends and family fly down there. So the problem is that she just had a baby girl, and needs to save a lot of money to support her, so we decided to grow most of the wedding flowers ourselves. Her colors are orange and white and light green, but any warm colors (orange, yellow, pink, no red) will do also. She informed me to only grow flowers that are hardy or really good for cutting, so that we know they will survive the whole time.So pretty much to narrow it down we need white and warm colored flowers that are sturdy (or will survive in a bouquet) and can grow in Ohio before the fourth of july
Do you have any suggestions? I will look all of them up, so feel free to suggest whatever sounds best to you.

Alllsooooo, I wanted to grow those gigantic sunflowers (10 ft tall, 1 ft diameter blooms) and I wanted to know if its possible to grow in Ohio, and if you can just cut off the blooms and eat the sunflower seeds right off the flower.

my fiance and i are getting married at the end of this september. we are having a small wedding, no attendants etc. My fiance is enlisted navy and will be wearing his dress blues uniform, for those of you who dont know :its black with white piping and some red detail. Im wearing a long but simple white wedding dress w a ribbon (dont know what color ribbon to go with yet). I was originally going to go with a light pink ribbon and pink and orange flowers but feel that these colors will clash with my fiances uniform.. any suggestions on ribbon and/ or flower colors for the ceremony? thanks so much!
