I’m helping plan a bridal shower for a friend who is getting married in August. I’m not sure if small favors are usually given out at showers, but I think it would be cute. There will be a lot more family members present than friens, so something appropriate and inexpensive since there will be quite a few people. Any ideas for favors would be appreciated!

I’m thinking of starting an at home business and would really like to include making wedding favors and other party favors as part of the business. Most favors though, especially for weddings use some type of food, such as jordan almonds, rice, heart candy, jelly beans, etc
I’m just wondering if something like that would need a food handlers permit and other similar permits since technically it would be food handling. I would love to be able to seel hand made items, but if I remember right thats considered producing and doesnt fall under a home business license.

My fiance and I have chosen to have rubber ducks as favors at our wedding, how should we personalize them?

My fiance loves to collect rubber ducks, so when we found these bride and groom rubber ducks in an Oriental Trading catalog we knew they should be the guest favors at our wedding next spring. I was thinking that maybe we could write our names and wedding date on the bottom of each duck. I just wanted to know if there are any other ideas to personalize them.

I am looking for simple wedding favors that can be cheaply made. I like the spoonful of kisses idea and was wondering if there are more like that, that are relativly inexpensive and easy to make. We are getting married in the fall and wine and white are our colors and we are going to have 300 guests (thats why i need ideas that are easy sice I will have to make so many!) and we are getting married outdoors but having the reception indoors.

so I have been asked to be the maid of honor for my fiance’s brother’s wedding ( so my future brother in law) I need some help with ideas for the bridal shower…What kind of games should we play?? what kind of favors are good? and Prizes… what do people like to get as prizes?? I’m looking for under 5 dollars a head. My colors are black and white with red roses. I believe the favors is a great place for me to cut back on the budget, but I’m really not that creative. I wanted to buy everyone a bottle of wine, but I think 15 dollars a head is a bit excessive for a favor.

I am having an elegant tropical themed wedding and I came up with the idea of making ordinary sea shells (I bought at a craft store) into personalized favors. I sprayed an adhesive on the shells and sprinkled pixie dust glitter on them and sealed them with a primer. I now want to put “Ashley & Gabriel August 18, 2007″ on them so my guests can have a little momento to take with them. I am having trouble coming up with a way to get the writing on them. I was thinking about using a fine tipped felt pen, but then I was thinking about craft paint in fine tipped bottles. Does anyone have any suggestions for writing text on shells? Thanks!!!!

Favors are what you put on the tables for every guest? What about Thank Yous, gifts or just mail out cards afterwards?? Im totally clueless!!
