Wedding in Red – Perfect Marriage

My wedding dress (as well as the bridesmaid dresses) is taffeta. So far I have only been looking at dresses that are taffeta for the sake of continuity. However, that definitely limits the number of possibilities. Would it look okay to have her dress in organza or something similar?

I saw other dresses that were ivory, white, etc, and I can have this dress custom made to any color, I just think this dress is perfect the way it is. I really want too, and the groom don’t mind, but mother in-law(to be) feels otherwise.

The dress is actually this dark red almost burgundy/wine color. BEUATIFUL !

I noticed that in China there seems to be two wedding cermony’s one where the bride where’s red and the other white, unless I’m mistaken and she wears white at either the blessing ceremony or the wedding reception, can anyone clear this up for me, I’m confused? The Chinese have a wonderful culture!

but now i can’t think of any colours to go with red that are sutible,i was going to go with red brides maids when i was planning on wearing white but now of course that could be overkill…..i am also at a loss for flowers etc…..any ideas for colours of bridemaids dresses and flowers…..any ideas will be much appreciated,thanks
