I’m looking for under 5 dollars a head. My colors are black and white with red roses. I believe the favors is a great place for me to cut back on the budget, but I’m really not that creative. I wanted to buy everyone a bottle of wine, but I think 15 dollars a head is a bit excessive for a favor.

My wedding is coming up in a few months and I am searching for some creative favors for a January 1st wedding. I already have ordered some personalized matches but am having trouble with what else to get. Everything seems to be really expensive even in bulk. Does anybody know any other ideas that are not too expensive? Also, what are some unique diy wedding favors? I am thinking about making some soap, but not really sure.
I don’t want something that has our names and the date on it.
We bought from michaels the do it yourself favors but now i am second guessing my purchases. they are chocolate brown and you fold them into the shape of pieces of cake. you also tie a ribbon on the flat part where normally icing would be. I am starting to worry that this is going to be too much like a birthday party having a bunch of chocolate looking cakes on table, so I am looking for ways to decorate more to make it look more elegant. I am having a fall wedding. so i was trying to think of like decals or something with leaves or fall colors. any suggestions?

My husband is in the US army….I’m a child hood cancer survivor….just giving you those infos to maybe pop up some ideas related to that.
I want to be really creative with the favors…and something that is pretty cheap, I will probably have about 300 guests at my wedding…..I have a big family.
Our theme color is baby blue and teal….blue is our fav color.

My fiance and I have had numerous ideas for different types of weddings. Unfortunately it looks like were going to end up having the cookie cutter hotel ballroom wedding like everyone else has. Does anyone have any creative cake topper suggestions for a chocolate themed wedding? Were not interested in anything common and overly used (flowers, figurines, tacky rhinestone initials or whatever). The cake wont be anything overly dramatic. So the date for our wedding is May 15, 2010! The color scheme is Fuchsia and Orange(not BAM orange, more like a redish orange) and white accents.
It is a rustic, farm wedding. I need some creatvie ideas for favors and centerpieces and decor. I have a tight budget and need to start gathering now. This is so that I don’t have to dish out a ton of money all at once. I like the idea of lanters and branches.

During my wedding planning, I have had a hard time finding exactly what I have been looking for, whether the items were too highly priced or just not the style or look that I had envisioned.

SO, I decided to make some of the items for our wedding and it is all turning out great!
I am thinking about starting my own business making wedding items for a low price. This business would offer hand-made, creative, personalized items for your wedding, such as guest books, pen holders, ring pillows, flower girl baskets, and other items that are personalized expecially for your wedding with your wedding colors and style in mind.
You would be able to see samples of all of the different items and choose from a wide variety of colors, styles, and looks.
I am just curious to see if there would be enough interest in this type of business before I get started. I will be posting on several websites.
