Need Wedding Favor And Centerpiece Ideas?

04 Dec

My fiancee and I are starting to plan our wedding. We have picked a theme our invitations, pillow, server, candles etc. are going to be “Young Love.” Our wedding is also going to me mobster-like themed the guys are wearing the pin-striped suits w/ penguin tails, cane, hat, black and white shoes ( you get the hint). I want to make our centerpieces and favor and I need some good ideas. PLEASE help! Oh, and the cheaper the better we are on a very tight budget. Also, our colors are red, black, white, and silver. Thank you so much!

    Hi and congratulations!
If you are on a really tight budget, then forget the favors entirely. If you really feel you need to do something, then wrap up some Hershey Kisses or some mints in tulle and tie it with a silk ribbon.http://s7d3.scene7.com/is/image/CathysCo…
For the centerpieces. I don’t know what to tell you. There is nothing you can do for your “theme” that I can think of.
The best thing to do is to simply do some candles on a table maybe with some silk rose petals scattered. Here is a picture…..very cheap:http://www.flickr.com/photos/40952239@N0…

Put a roulette game on the center of each table – that will also give you guests something to do -
Or if you want to be fancy – set it like a table in a fancy Italian restaurant. Set the table with a bottle of wine (preferably the kind with the basket weave around the bottom half) a basket of bread, and a vase of flowers.
    Sounds like a fun theme.

centerpieces: to play up the mobster theme of “swimming with the fishes” you could have a vase (tie a coloured ribbon on it if you wish or place rocks at the bottom) & place a fish in each one.
