I have a beautiful hand made, beaded and embroidered red/ruby wedding dress from alfred angelo that I wore on my wedding day but would like to sale. I paid 1200 and only wore it for about 4 hours and is in prestine condition. Im looking for a website or somewhere that I could sell it?
I have used e bay, craigslist and had a few offers for around 600, Im not trying to be rude but I didnt ask how much you think i would get for it, youd have to see the dress to before you make the conclustion that id only get a certain amount for it, I am simply looking for resale websites or ideas. Thank you!

courtney, I do not know how to attach a pic? and I chose red because its just me, to have something different, and its not red like fire engine red its red like a ruby sort of color. If someone can tell me how to attach a pic i would be more than happy to!
I want to sell my red/ruby wedding dress? Any Ideas where to start?

A red wedding dress will be a hard sell. There are many wedding gowns in the market, so you will be lucky if you get $200 for it.
Try ebay, craigslist, onlineauction and recyclemywedding.com.
Good luck

Well, ebay works for a lot of people. I also know people who will also take it to a local consignment shop to sell it.
What you have to wrap your head around is the fact you may get FAR less back than you paid for it. So, if you go the Ebay route and don’t want to sell under a given price then make sure you place a reserve on it.

I’d put it on Craigslist and ask for at least 1/2 of what you paid for it (make sure the dress has been cleaned if you’re going to ask this amount). You could put it on EBAY as well but I would not recommend consignment shops because they could be renting out your dress without your knowledge and you won’t get paid until they actually sell the gown.

Try a bridal consignment shop in your area or even one that rents wedding dresses. It’s not the color of the dress, I bet it was beautiful, but what the demand is. After having said that, if you paid $1200 for it you probably would be able to get 60% of what you paid in a consignment shop. If you let them rent the dress out you would make closer to the originally price of $1200 or more depending on your area.

you could try a consignment store, other than that if you have already tried the obvious online websites i dont know of any. if its as nice as you describe a picture wouldnt do it justice a person would have to see it
