I’ve been looking at around at different websites but everything is between $800-$1300. I’d like to keep it under $500. I don’t need anything extravagent, but I’d like for them to look somewhat formal.
Also, It seems that everything I’ve found is limited on colors- usually dark colors only (brown, red, black). My colors are teal/white for July wedding, but I can go with white invites and maybe silver font for the invites.
Can I Get Wedding Invitations With Pockets Under $500? (150 Invites Total)?

I had about 165 invites and I only spent around $85. If you have somebody close to you that could hand make them, you could save a ton of money. You can have very nice invitations and keep the cost very low. You said your colors are teal and white…so go to like Michael’s or Joannes and get pieces of teal and white paper. Take the white paper and either hand right or print your wording anyway you like. Cut the teal and white papers anyway you want and layer them. Put a ribbon on the invite or maybe a nice photo of the two of you. There are also pre packaged invites. Like you can get invites that are already packaged you just have to put them together.

If you want pocket invites and are willing to print them yourself, go to mountaincow.com
They have envelopements and they are SUPER affordable!!!
They also have stationary software that can help you design things including a monogram!

If you have the time, you should get all of your bridesmaids together to help you make your own invites. You can go to the craft store and pick out your own colors, pick out your own font on your computer, etc. Or you and your mother could do them together. It could be fun bonding time and it will save you money. Also, if you make them yourself, you will be sure that no one has invites like yours. They will be unique and creative
If you aren’t picky about all that, Staples sells wedding invite kits for you to print yourself for really cheap!

You can get the folders for half price. Then get the inserts at Michaels, JoAnns or Target and print them yourself.
I did this and then tied them with Brown Satin ribbons. I had everyone calling me to tell me how beautiful they were. It made me feel so good since I did the work myself.
When you go on the website go to Clearance tab and click on the blue envelope. The portfolios are by size and come in a good amount of colors.
All the best!

hey… i know some dudes here at my school with some wicked photoshop skills, and also really good in Publisher and Macromedia Fireworks…
I’m really interested in helping you out, and at 17 years-old, i wouldn’t ask for more than $500… that’s insane… all i’ll be doing is creating 1 invitation to be printed another 149 times…
I will email you when i get out of school later and maybe i can get some ideas…
message me if you are interested… redneckinsane159@yahoo.com
p.s… i go to a technical high school… This would be an easy job you shouldn’t have to pay much for…

Try making your own, that really is the cheapest option, but obviously the most time consuming.
I made my own with deep purple card, gold lettering and freeze dried rose petals inside.
Perhaps instead of silver font, you could use very light grey.

Did you check out Ebay? They have TONS of stuff, and then you could just take it to a local printer. I think you can get 150 invites for around like $80.00…Happy Hunting!!

Have you tried looking into independent printing stores in your area? We did this and got beautiful invitations that cost around $200 for 150.
