i want to have a wedding reception at a place that is nice and elegant but cheap also i would like to make my own food and drinks… i would consider having it some where that makes the food but all of the good places want 50 and higher per person and i dont have that i am 17 and he is 18 we are to get married august 7th 2011 and i need a place and cheap favors and centerpieces flowers and linens PLEASE HHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPP!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know of any websites that I could order a bridal set that is silver and has cubic Zirconia gems?? I am going on vacation and do not want to wear my real wedding band set. I have fear that I may lose them. And that would be my luck, to lose them on vacation.

k…so my parents are trying to create a wedding invitation…..the text and everything is done..and ready….only…they would like a photo of themselves like in the background of the invitation…with the text on it….anyone know of a program or a way to do it on word? this IS going to be printed…soo…anyway..thanks much for the help

I’m trying to think of ideas for party favors for my wedding. I don’t want to spend too much so creative ideas would be great. I’m trying to cut back on things where I can. My colors are white & yellow. Its May 2nd. There will be around 50-60 adults. And then 10-15 kids give or take. Any ideas?

Hey, I am getting married in October and I need some good ideas for groomsmen gifts, and bridesmaid gifts. All over 21 years of age. I have 3 younger cousins as bridesmaids also 10-14 years old. How do I send flowers to an airport?

My girlfriend is coming back from France, and will be arriving @ o’hare airport in Chicago. I was wondering if anyone knew of any services that would allow me to have flowers delivered to her while @ the airport?
I cant take them to her myself considering the Airport is 3 hrs away, and she has prearranged transportation home because it was a school related trip. So it would be pointless to go there give her the flowers and then say bye again.

For our wedding favors we are looking to give each guest a wine glass and fill it with pretty candies or something else. We may do glass etching on them ourselves or buy ones that are already etched.

Okay, so I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a good wedding photographer, and they’re all over $4,000 for the package that I want, and I finally found a pretty good one with extremely low prices, and I am confused! The website is thepros.com. It seems like something has to be wrong with them since their prices are so cheap; it just seems too good to be true! Are these really professional photographers, and if so, why are they so cheap?!

website & was thrilled with classic bag, an asstment of 45 truffles of 3 types for abt $13. If I gave everyone one of each type in a little bag, the total cost per each would be about $2 ( assume the bags cost abt $1 each).

I was all set to start to search for bags in a wine or burgandy color that I could get for cheap. I started on my online search, got the mail & got an invitations by dawn catalog. I went through the whole catalog & while I didn’t find any bags, I did find some boxes.

I also found some cookie bags. which brought me back to my first thought of doing cookies with a heart cookie cutter at the tables.

That got changed to at the end maybe with coffee “to go”. But wedding in May.

Then thought since we are doing a donation & having bud vases as centerpieces/take aways, don’t want too much.

But still want something edible.
So, what would you prefer as favor:

three bagged lindt lindor truffles at beginning

cookies at end with bottle of water?
We are doing a donation to charities that help diabetes, epilepsy & mental illness. And we will have a card on the table for each guest that explains this. As something for guests to “take away” our table ‘centerpieces” will actually be bud vases with 2 or 3 roses on the table – enough for one vase per each couple. The edible thing was just something I wanted. I was trying to figure out what to do. Then on another question someone mentioned the lindt lindor truffles, I figured that would be perfect.

Until I saw the catalog with the cookie bags. I work at a catering hall & I think it’s a nice gesture for a winter wedding to allow guests to stop at a “send off station” before they leave to pick up a baked treat (cookies or brownies) & some coffee, tea or hot cocoa on their way out.

But our wedding will be in May – that’s why I said water bottles.

Also just realized we will NOT be having an after party. Because it won’t fit in right with our guests and would cost too much.

I have ben trying to sell a wedding dress which is very pretty, it has never been used before still in the original packaging. Along with the wedding dress I have the flower girl dress and the maids dress. I have posted the dreses on ebay a few times but no luck yet. I have gone into shops and retail stores but nothing. I paid over $3,000 fpr the wedding dress. I bought it at Eva’s Bridal, I had tried to cancel the making of the dress but it was kind of too late but they did not finish altring the drss to my measurements but its a size 14 but in reality it is like a size12-10. Its a unique dress with a beautiful hand broided designs with a long train with broided design. So where can I go to sell the wedding gown and the other drsses? I know I will not get what I paid for it but why have it in the box in the closest if its going to turn colorish with time, when someone else can use them and enjoy them. If by the looks of it I’m never going to use them… So please help me out!

My son eloped with his girlfriend, no fan fare no one invited, I figured he would Marry her just not this quick or like this, any way now my new daughter in law is having a friend host a wedding shower????? and she expects presents, She has told my youngest son more then once what he could get her or them, he dosnt think its right and finally told her he didnt have the money to buy them a gift but he would attend the wedding shower, she told him that was ok he could just get them a 12 pack or some bbq (this is being held at a church) ok so that really upset me, I told him dont take her anything be there for your brother. and be respectful of his wife. my husbund and I told her she forfieted the right to a gift when she choose to Marry the way she did at which point she wanted my son to take up for her because as she put it that wasnt right and it hurt her feelings, how tacky can you be? she didn’t think enough of us to inform us they were getting married. we were visitng them 3 days before they got married , so yes my feeling were hurt I understood them not wanting a big fuss I didn’t understand the deceit. ok so whats done is done we will survive this. but then to expect me to buy a present or to expect anyone to buy her anything is really not winning any favors with me, so am I wrong for feeling this way i mean has times really changed this much that this is ok

Fall Wedding color question?

I am getting married 10-10-10. I have already picked out my dress, it has apple colored embellishments on it and it the dress i have wanted for years. I am considering some shade as brown as my other color. Now here is y problem>> I am doing a beach or tropical theme. My save the dates r a palm tree sunset and i looking at invitations that are palm tree as well. I went with the beach thin because there is a group of about 16 that is leaving for our honeymoon cruise on the 16th
So my questions is does the APPLE and a shade of BROWN go together and What other COLORS could i use that would not look way out of place for a fall wedding but go with the beach theme?????
The way i was thinking to add the tropical theme in was… my invites were going to have a palm tree on them and the worrding was going to be in brown. My cake was going to have chocolate sea shells on it and my center peices were going to be large hurricane globes with sand shells and a pillar candle in the middle. I just dont know what other color to use as an accent color. like for the candles? Please let me know if u have any suggestions!!!
