My Matron of Honor has an orange red hair color and my other 2 girls have a blondish brown and a dark brown hair colors. The wedding is in May 2010, and I need help figuring out what color would work for all three of them. My only guess right now would be a green but I don’t know if that would blend in with the outdoors too much. Any help!?

My wedding is in June 2010 (long time from now but I’m a planner) We decided to have the ceremony at our church (very important to us) but we decided to have the reception else wear. We were thinking on the Air Force base the Officer’s Club, it’s very pretty. We are on a tight budget and for the reception, I was wondering if anyone has any creative ideas and suggestions on how to cut the cost down but making it still beautiful. Our colors are blush pink and champagne. There is going to be no alcohol at wedding (too many alcoholics in fam) I’m open to all ideas handmade items to professional decorating as long as it stays in the $5,000 budget for 100 guests.
I love lighting but I think it is really expensive to have a professional come in. Does anyone have any advice on this? I don’t even know what it’s called so it’s hard to explain. In the wedding reception photos that I’ve seen, the ones that take my breath away are the ones that have a sheer fabric on wall with purple or any color behind it. How do they that?

I have to do a speech and demonstration (kind of like the cooking channel where they tell you how to do something while they are doing it) for my communications class.

The speech can take 6-8 minutes. Does anyone have any valentines themed dessert ideas (no baking) that I could make for the speech?

I was thinking about making a chocolate chip cheese ball if that gives you an idea of about how long something should take to make.

I am getting married next December (2010) but am trying to go ahead and get the big things booked like a photographer and DJ. Does anyone know of a good wedding photographer or DJ? I like something more creative than just standard shots.

I was invited to a wedding this coming Sunday, but I have no idea what to wear! It’s a small wedding (50 guests, give or take) at a small church. I asked the bride if it was a casual or formal wedding, since some brides make a small wedding into a large to-do. All she said was to wear something “nice.” I kind of figured that…

I seriously have nothing to wear to a wedding besides one dress, but I’m unsure about wedding guest ettiquette. Should guests wear black to a wedding?

My dress is black with red flowers all over it. It’s spaghetti strapped, but not low-cut. The skirt comes just below my knees. I’m thinking about wearing a black jacket over it (to be on the conservative side) until I see what others are wearing. I’m just worried about the heat, and I don’t know if the church has a/c.

Would this idea work or should I just give in and buy something new? If so, what guidelines should I follow?
